What is a Caramel Kiss Cocktail?

This cocktail is a cream-based creation that goes down sweetly and easily. It can be served as a dessert cocktail or stand alone, but it isn’t a good cocktail to pair with dinner.

While any vodka could be used, I suggest Smirnoff Kissed Caramel. The sweetness is well balanced and the caramel taste is beautifully rich. It stands out against the RumChata quite well.

If you like your drinks on the stronger side, cut the cream down to 2 ounces. But beware, it will hit HARD!

This sweet adult beverage can be made with cream or half and half.

What Can I Substitute for Caramel Vodka?

While caramel vodka is my favorite because of the clean taste, I also enjoy this cocktail with salted caramel whiskey. Of course, the flavor is different, but it’s a deeper, richer taste that I enjoy. I especially like Ole Smokey Salted Caramel Whiskey. It has an exceptionally smooth taste and the caramel tones can’t be beat!

For a mocha twist on this cocktail, substitute the vodka with Kahlua Salted Caramel Liqueur. It adds to the creaminess of the cocktail, but since it is a coffee liqueur, it brings a full-bodied, robust taste that balances out the cream.

This sweet cocktail is perfect for Valentine's Day or a fun Galentine's celebration.

What If I Don’t Have a Cocktail Shaker?

You can still enjoy this yummy cocktail.

The purpose of using a shaker isn’t just to blend it, but also to chill the liquid quickly. You can use a jar or storage container with a tight lid to shake for the same result.

You can also pour the ingredients into the glass and stir with ice. It won’t be as cold initially, but it will still be enjoyable!
