Chicken so delicious you'll want to get up and dance!
Remember that mouth watering pork tenderloin, I made using Golden Steer's De Jonghe Garlic Seasoning?
It's got some major competition for the most delicious May dish coming out of my kitchen! I used De Jonghe seasoning in my Garlic Butter Chicken and let me tell you, it was (chef's kiss) delicious!
I mixed flour with about 1/2 teaspoon of Sergio's seasoning, which is a "perfect ratio" salt and pepper blend. I dredged the chicken breasts, shook off the excess, and pan-fried them in butter.
Then came the fun part. After removing the chicken, I melted about five tablespoons of butter to the skillet. I quickly added a tablespoon of De Jonghe seasoning and stirred it into the melted butter, then immediately added half a cup of chicken stock. I whisked the butter in seasoning together, then turned the heat down to low and added the chicken back into the skillet. I let it simmer ten more minutes to thicken the sauce, turning the chicken to coat.
You'll want to drizzle some of that yummy, garlicy sauce over the chicken when you serve it. The sauce is also delicious over potatoes, fish, and corn!

We recently had the pleasure of enjoying happy hour at Palette 22 in Arlington, Virgina. This enchanting place is beautifully themed and we heard it has the best food at the best prices in the Shirlington area.
That was NOT a rumor!
This restaurant weaves visual and culinary arts in an airy, creative space. The art pieces on display, featuring paintings and sculptures, are created by local artists and available for purchase. If you visit at just the right time, you can even watch a piece of art come to life before your eyes!

I grew up in the 80's when pudding was in its heyday. Pudding Poke Cake was super easy and therefore super popular!
Mine is a gluten-free chocolate cake with vanilla pudding and Cool Whip topping. Just bake the cake as directed and let it cool. Poke holes all over the surface. Mix one 3.4 oz box of pudding with 2 cups milk and pour over the surface of the cake so it fills the holes. Top with 8 oz Cool Whip and chill at least 1 hour.

I love this #gifted DeJonghe Garlic seasoning so much, I used it in THREE ways when I made my garlic pork tenderloin!
Inspired by Golden Steer's iconic Shrimp de Jonghe served in their Las Vegas restaurant, the DeJonghe Zesty Garlic Spice is as bold as it is rich. The robust blend of garlic, lemon, and spices creates layers of flavor that is especially delicious on chicken and seafood.
I used it first in my marinade, along with lemon juice, olive oil, and white wine vinegar. It gave the meat delicious flavor!
Next, I seasoned the marinated pork with a light sprinkle of #goldensteersteakhouse Sergio's Seasoning (a salt and pepper blend), then rubbed on the DeJonghe blend. The spices created a delicious outer crust of flavor when I grilled the tenderloin.
As the pork rested, I used my new favorite seasoning in a creamy lemon Dijon sauce that was PERFECT over the juicy meat!
I always know I've hit a meal out of the park when there are no leftovers, and that's exactly what happened here. I'm going to make sure I always have DeJonghe seasoning on hand now!

I ❤️ making breakfast fun, so I made these super easy Cheesy Sausage Biscuit Sticks with my deliciously juicy #gifted Johnsonville breakfast sausage links! They were the perfect way to jazz up my scrambled eggs, especially with that yummy sausage-filled center!
Brown the @johnsonville breakfast links first, then set them aside on paper towels. Preheat the oven to 400F so it's ready when the biscuit sticks are assembled.
Pop open a tube of refrigerated biscuits (the smaller biscuits, not the huge puffy ones) and flatten each one. Roll each sausage in a piece of cheese, then wrap the sausage and cheese in a biscuit.
Be sure to seal the seams well! Lay the biscuit sticks on a baking sheet and bake at 400F for 10-15 minutes, until the sticks are golden brown.
Transfer to cooling rack, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Everything Bagel seasoning.
I'm already looking forward to making these again. Who's with me?

There's nothing like freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and I was #gifted the BEST mix from @zookskitchen2024 !
If you've followed me for a while, you know how much I love 🍪 chocolate chip cookies, especially when they're homemade. But it takes time to round up all the ingredients, measure, mix, and bake. And time is something I'm always short on.
Using Zook's Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix gave me my time back! I only needed to add oil, an egg, and a little water to the mix and ta-da! I had a batch of crispy, chewy chocolate chip cookies in 30 minutes!

When I received this #gifted package of Smart Pocket bread by Toufayan, I knew it would be perfect for Garlic Bread Pasta Pockets!
These were inspired by my friend, who hollowed out garlic bread and used it to serve Fettucine Alfredo. I knew the thin whole wheat pockets would be perfect for a lighter version.
I used a muffin tin to hold the pockets open as I toasted them in the oven (just 3 or 4 minutes at 375F). Then I spread garlic butter inside eack pocket and loaded it up with spaghetti! 🍝😊
